I take pride in being one of the most honest mentors in the business, because lets me be honest the internet is a big place, everyone has access, and we all know that there are alot of… not so honest people out there, especially on the internet.

I came accross something yesterday that quite annoyed me, and I felt strongly enough about it that I just had to write a quick post about it.

In my opinion, honesty is always the best policy, especially when you are asking people to hand over quite alot of money, as we are in this high ticket business that is, YourNetBiz.   Now there are quite alot of people out there that claim to make money in this business, by doing it with totally no advertising or marketing costs, then there are people that dont make those claims, and thats fine, because there are literaly loads of different approaches and methods that you can use to market this business, but I just feel that you should make your techniques plain for all to see so that people can make their own, informed decision.

So… Yesterday I noticed, In a paid advert in google, someone claim that they run this business with “no advertising costs”.

Now to someone who has never worked online or who doesnt really know how google works, wouldnt notice that this is a complete lie.  How can you start off, talking to someone who you are interested in becoming a long term business associate, by telling them such a lie that you dont pay for advertsing, when infact, you pay around £10k per month on advertising.

To me, that isnt really any way to start a good working relationship with someone, by misleading them and giving them false information.

Anyway.. I’m also not in the busines of attacking anyone, just like to help people make the right decision, so I thought I would give a quick guide to anyone out there who doesnt know, the difference between a paid advert on google, and a natural ranking, which brings your site free traffic.

If you look at the image, the links to the top, in the shaded area, and down the right hand side of the page, these are paid links, in a market such as internet businesses, or making money online, these can be quite expensive, and are in the region of £1-£2 per click.

Then we have the sites in the middle, these are natural rankings, achieved by optimitizing your site and doing Search Engine Optimization, commonly known as SEO.  All traffic you get to these sites is totally free, and when done right, your sites will be there forever, giving you a lifetime of free traffic.

So… to try and keep this short, just be aware if someone is advertising somewhere that they pay to advertise, and claiming that they have no advertising costs.

I pride myself on being an honest mentor in the business, im not trying to say im the only one, because there are a few, but I can give you honest advice on the business, I will work with you every day until you have your sites up and running and getting FREE traffic from google and other methods, and I will also continue to work with you throughout your whole online working life as we continue to build our internet businesses.
